Description Add to the first chapter more discussion on the events before the genocide - Discuss and change the part that says that the international community was not aware of the genocide, because they were. Please refer that it is important to differentiate their roles on the before and after genocide periods. Chapter 3: Finish the UN role. Add contextualization and discuss the actions undertaken by the UN e.g. Operation Turquoise (because France was on the Hutu side), the attempts of Dallaire were ignored. Analyze the bureaucracy within the UNSC. The focus of the UN was to achieve its goals (Arusha) and its failure to adapts its response to what was happening on the ground. The lack of capacity to advocate and discuss in order to influence the members of the UNSC into acting to the maintenance of peace and security council.
